2018 Short film for CBC Kids, for HOPE WORKS. Constructed a 60+’ “HELLO” sign entirely from 30+ house lamps and hundreds of string lights, installed on location in a provincial park. Designed & installed 20’+ patio railing at cottage location, as well as 6’+ install on three storey yacht for over the shoulder shot.

HOPE WORKS is a series of 12 short films meant to reassure and inspire kids who are growing up with a 24-hour news cycle and overwhelming social media resources. The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks Animation Television, CBC Kids are among the creators in Hope Works, a project created by BBC Children’s and Sky Kids aimed at helping young people cope with the anxieties of a modern world.

LITTLE LIGHTS
When a girl notices a lonely light flashing across the lake, she gathers the neighbourhood kids and all the lights they can find, to send back an answer to a boy who needs a friend.
